St. Paul Lutheran Church of Pleasant Hill near Clifton merged with Trinity Lutheran Church on January 1, 1961. St. Paul pastors and are listed with Trinity pastors under People. St. Paul congregation had services starting in 1886 conducted by Pastors Glatzle and Kreuzenstein but was organized as St. Paul Lutheran Church in 1927. When it merged with Trinity, St. Paul's property was transferred to Trinity. Other churches merged with Trinity were the Sacndinavian Lutheran Church of Crawford founded in 1902 and merged in 1925 and St. James Lutheran Church of Mosheim (Hurst Spring and/or Live Oak) founded in 1901 and merged in 1951. St. James pastors are also listed under People. Items are added to these files as the archives receives them. |
