17 handwritten pages of a circular letter, mostly in English, some in German, detailing the response to the patriotic resolution put forth by some central Texas Lutheran pastors advocating that all German church services be halted in favor of English language ones to show patriotism at the time of the first World War. This letter was most likely to have been signed by pastors and returned to Pastor Bartholomew Henry Schleifer in Kerrville, TX. A copy of the original resolution can be found in FBox 44, Folder 10.
