Notes |
As early as 1953 Lutheran settlers along the Llano River, Beaver Creek, and various communities unnamed made an effort to call a minister and organize a congregation. Some missionaries did visit but it was 1872 before organization took place. Even after the congregation was established, the pastors served Beaver Creek and Simonsville in homes in these communities. In 1912 the community of Hilda was also served by pastors from Mason or Doss and erected a building. After the automobile, it closed its doors. |
