In 1897 the name changed to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Warrenton, Texas. Warrenton was originally known as Neeseville, Texas. In 2017, St. John's Lutheran Church at Warrenton is part of a Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County along with St. Paul Lutheran Church of Fayetteville, St. John Lutheran Church of Ellinger, and St. John Lutheran Church of Rutersville - in Texas. |
