Lutherans were worshiping in Round Top (original name was Townsend) as early as 1855. Pastor J. G. Lieb and Pastor Otto Hahn (Haun) served between 1853 and 1860. Pastor Neuthard arrived on December 28, 1860. Parish Records from before 1902 for neighboring congregations that Pastor Neuthardt served may be in the Bethlehem Parish Record books. Specifically La Bahia Prairie Parish Records before 1902 are there. Items are added to these files as the archives receives them. |
