Origin of the two William A. Slaughter paintings given to LSPS by the artist in 1989. The two paintings hung in the LSPS offices until its closure in 2021. One now hangs in the office of the bishop of the Northern Texas / Northern Louisiana Synod (NTNL). The other will be auctioned in the 2023 Camping Ministry Gala. Origin of the LSPS parament commissioned by the Class of 2004 According to the article, the parament was designed by Cotton Patch Designs and presented to LSPS as a gift. It was given to Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, Seguin, Texas, after LSPS closed. |
