Congregation began meeting in 1886 led by traveling missionary, Rev. C. Kreutzenstein. In 1887 Pastor Henry F. Daude arrived. While at Immanuel Lutheran between 1887 and 1922, Pastor Daude visited Wiedeville, Pflugerville, Taylor, McGregor, McDade, Buckholts, Paige, Shive/Pottsville, Priddy, and Temple to preform worship services or other occasions as needed.
