In 1884 Mr. Philip John Ziemer of New Orleans seved as first pastor but was found to not be an ordained Lutheran Pastor so Welcome Pastor Huber helped them to be served by neighboring pastors until one could be found. The Evangelical Lutheran Martin Luther Gemeinde La Bahia (LaBahia) Prairie shared confirmation classes with Greenvine in 1911 and 1912. Parish records for 1902-1916 are at Emmanuels in Greenvine. Records before 1902 are at Bethlehem in Round Top. Items are added to these files as the archives receives them. |
