Five copies of "The History of the Evangelical Lutheran Texas Synod of the United Lutheran Church in America" published under the auspices of the Evangelical Lutheran Texas Synod of The United Lutheran Church in America on the occasion of the Seventy-Fifth Anniversary of the Synod, Nov. 10, 1851 to Nov. 10, 1926. Printed for the Synod by The United Lutheran Publishing House, Philadelphia, [1926]. In the Preface on page 5 the following members of the committee are credited with writing this history: Rev. F.F. Eberhardt, Rev. W.C. Wolfsdorff, Rev. M.A. Ritzen and Rev. J.T. Gillison. Seven copies of the pamphlet "The Lutheran Church in Texas' by Rev. H.C. Ziehe, Pastor of Government Hill Lutheran Church, San Antonio, Texas. Pamphlets were given away at the 1936 Texas Centennial. Two copies of "A Diamond Jubilee: Seventy-Five years of Lutheranism in the Texas Panhandle" by Peter L. Peterson and Frederick W. Rathjen. Printed in Amarillo, Texas by the Fiel Printing Company, 1983. The Treasurer's Book of the Yorktown Pastoral Conference of the Texas District of the American Lutheran Church. 1931-1959. 1 transcript for "Bilder-Vortrag, Geschichte der Texas Synode" or a picture lecture of the history of the Texas Synod by Rev. H. Krause, D.D., Maxwell, Texas. Article "Lutheran Beginnings in Texas" by W.A. Flachmeier. Copies of the "Texas District, News Bulletin, Office of the President, Seguin, TX" July 1953; October 1953; October 1954; April 1955; May 1955; July 1955; September 1955 Article written by William T. Block - "The History and Progress of the Lutheran Churches in the Golden Triangle, 1897-1988" Vol. 1-3 of the Daily District Data sheet of the 27th annual Texas District convention held at Texas Lutheran College, April 24-25, [1957]. Appeal from the American Lutheran Church Texas District Finance Committee, September 1936. A document detailing the formation of the [Lutheran] Brotherhood with a personal letter from Herman H. Ochs, elected 1st Vice-President of the organization. His letter is dated Oct. 22, 1942 and details the reasons for his not attending the convention. "A Factual Analysis of the Lutheran Church in Texas," a report prepared for the Texas Regional Committee by the Rural Church Programs, Division of American Missions, National Lutheran Council, under the direction of E.W. Mueller, [1953]. This is the second copy of this report. |
