Participating were National Lutheran Council Churches from an eight county area in Texas: Austin, Bastroop, Brazos, Burleson, Feyette, Lee, Waller and Washington Counties. Conducted by the Brenham Conference, Texas District, ALC in cooperation with The Church in Town & Country, National Lutheran Council, 327 South LaSalle Street, Chicago 4, Illinois. Workshop held at Haskell, Texas, Marach 25, 1966, including these working papers: "The Lutheran Church in the Area" by Rev. C. Richard Becker "Mapping the Area" by Rev. Gary Bruns "The Economic Outlook of the Area" by Mr. Raja Hassen "The Problems and the Realistic Approach to their Solution" by Rev. Allen Johannes.
