His grandfather Adolf Baltzer emigrated from Germany in 18840 and was active in the Kirchenverine, the predecessor to the Evangelical Synod of the West. Adolf was also involved with the formation of Eden Seminary. Ordained at Zion Church, St. Louis, Missouri, June 22, 1913 by his father, John. |
